Healthy and Sustainable Life at Churchill Gardens
The Farm and Gardens
At the heart of Churchill Gardens is the community farm and permaculture gardens, where you can learn and grow at any age and share in cultivating a healthy lifestyle. The farm will be tended by professionals, using low/no till farming to protect soil health.
Imagine farm-to-table food, right in your neighborhood. Spanning over three acres, the community farm and greenhouses will provide healthy, locally-grown crops. Permaculture gardens will provide additional fresh, seasonal food, while preserving important wetland ecosystems. Produce will be distributed throughout the neighborhood and stock the nearby farmers market.
GROW YOUR OWN FOOD
With indoor and outdoor classroom capabilities, training is available at the community garden for every level of expertise, giving you the ability to live off the land.
Residents and neighbors can claim their own plots and cultivate the fruits, vegetables and crops they love.
Shared Living at The Co-Hab House
Shared living floor plans will be available at The Co-Hab House, our shared living building, giving residents the opportunity to experience community in its truest form, working together to use shared amenities and gathering spaces. The Nest leads the way with its MassTimber, energy-efficient build and is fully equipped with solar power capabilities.
Permaculture Gardens and Scenic Walking Trails
Churchill Gardens is rooted in permaculture: Eat what you grow, grow what you eat. Throughout the neighborhood, there are edible landscapes that mix beauty and scenery with fresh food.
Accessible walking trails wind throughout the entire property, allowing for an easy retreat to connect with nature and recreational activities.
The Kamaru Clubhouse & Farmers Market
The Kamaru Clubhouse serves as the heart of the community, a welcoming space to gather, connect, and host events and meetings. The Farmers Market brings fresh, local, and resident-grown produce right to the neighborhood, making it easy to shop, socialize, and support sustainable living.
